Diversion Product Updates: November Highlights (11/24)
Dear community, get ready for some serious upgrades! This month, we’ve packed in features and tips to make your workflow smoother than ever.
Huuuuuuuge files support
Were struggling with huge files? Not anymore! For those trying to upload files larger than 5GB, we’ve got you covered. Go ahead and bring in those epic, massive files – Diversion is ready to handle them!
Revert to commit
Ever wish you had a time machine for your code? Now you do! Our new "Revert to this commit" feature lets you jump back to any previous commit and restore things just the way they were - no need for quantum mechanics.
Here’s a quick breakdown of your options:
- Create branch from here -
Starts a fresh branch from that selected commit and leaves anything after it behind.
- Undo this commit -
Reverses just that one commit in your workspace – perfect for fixing a minor misstep.
- Revert to this commit -
Takes you all the way back to the selected commit, as if the later changes never happened. Easy-peasy, right? (Don’t worry, all the commits will still be available in version history - all changes will be reverted into your workspace, and you decide whether to commit them or not).
Re-attaching a workspace
By popular request, you can now re-attach an existing local workspace! Use this feature carefully, though – it's designed for particular situations, like when you’ve moved a local clone of your repo to a different path or are working from a portable drive, which can cause the workspace to detach.
New Unreal Engine plugin version
Exciting news for Unreal Engine fans – our latest plugin (v0.3.8) is out, complete with performance boosts and enhancements inspired by your feedback! Be sure to grab the update to make the most of these improvements, update here.
