Is there a free version of Diversion?
Yes. Diversion offers two free tiers: Indie game development, which is free for the first 5 users and supports up to 20 users total with 100GB of free storage, and Education, which is free for up to 10 users at academic institutions. Eligibility applies for both tiers. In addition, all paid tiers include a 21-day free trial.
What's included in the 21-day free trial?
The 21-day free trial includes full access to Studio plan features: unlimited seats, 100GB of free storage, unlimited repositories, API access, CI/CD integrations, webhooks, art previews, granular permissions, code and asset reviews, and email + Discord support.
Can I upgrade from Indie to Pro or Studio later?
Yes. You can upgrade your plan at any time directly from your Diversion account. Repository history, branches, and access settings are preserved when you upgrade.
Are there discounts for educational institutions?
Yes. The Education plan is free for up to 10 users. Students and educators can apply directly in-app. Professors or IT administrators at academic institutions can reach out via our contact page for institutional pricing on larger deployments.
How does Enterprise pricing work?
Enterprise pricing is custom and scales based on your team size, deployment model, and integration needs. Diversion supports cloud, private cloud, on-premises, and hybrid deployments. Enterprise plans include unlimited users, SAML SSO, custom integrations, multi-site deployment with proxy support, and a 24/7 support SLA. Contact us for a custom quote at hello@diversion.dev.
Do I pay per user or per repository?
Diversion is priced per user, not per repository. The Pro and Studio plans include unlimited repositories. Indie includes up to 5 repositories. Storage is metered separately — 100GB is included on all paid plans, with additional 100GB available at $10/month.
